I first heard this expression from Jon Bergoff - "Transformation does not happen directly from the event, the experience, the learning, etc. Rather transformation insight comes from making space and taking time to "reflect" on the event, experience, learning." As a participant in many xchange events I have lived this insight first hand. The xchange approach builds and creates space for this reflection inside of the event container itself.
