What’s Joe Pine doing out here on Substack?

I am giving subscribers the opportunity to join with me as I write my latest book on transformations, the follow-up to our best-seller The Experience Economy. I’ll be posting my writing in progress, archiving what’s already been written, and occasionally sending out other commentaries on newsworthy and noteworthy items. I’ll also host a Zoom session every once in a while where you can ask me questions directly about the new book and other things. And I’ll occasionally be sending out Tools to my subscribers that will help them apply these ideas to their own situation.

As I’ve started in on the writing, I’ve found the subject of transformations both fascinating and complex. The more I learn, the more there is to learn. Paid subscribers will have the opportunity to review these early chapter drafts and comment on all the ideas as they are in active development.  In doing so you will influence the work and have unprecedented access to this new thinking in near real-time – as well as gain insights into how I think.  People whose comments play a significant role in the outcome of the book will be mentioned in the book’s acknowledgements! And every paid subscriber who stays through to the book being finished will get a signed copy of the physical book, once published.

And after the book is complete, I’ll be using Substack on a long-term basis to begin exploring other writings and to provide you the earliest possible access to what I am thinking and working on, including new books, articles, and more.

Stay up-to-date

Never miss an update – every new piece of writing will be posted and sent directly to your email inbox. Posts will come with questions to provide feedback on the ideas, principles, frameworks that will be core to the book. That feedback will be incorporated into next generation of the writing, and your further feedback will get us to a place where the best ideas (and their expression) win.
